2012 Leadership Award Winner: Reverend Jerry Paul
Rev. Paul is the recently retired President and Chief Executive Officer of the Deaconess Foundation, a faith-based foundation in the St. Louis metropolitan area focusing on the improvement of public and community health needs in the region. Rev. Paul has assisted a wide range of charitable organizations in planning, mission and vision development, board training, and consultation on various aspects of organizational leadership. Under Rev. Paul's leadership and through his insight, ingenuity, and innovation, the Deaconess mission that began in St. Louis 120 years ago continues today as a foundation that pioneered capacity-building with youth-serving organizations.
